When a journal is submitted for evaluation, IJIFACTOR editors assess it for inclusion across all applicable databases. Journals already indexed may also be considered for additional IJIFACTOR collections.
Before submitting a journal for evaluation, please ensure that the publication meets the following minimum requirements:
Journals that do not meet these minimum criteria will not be evaluated and will be rejected.
The International Journal Impact Factor (IJIFACTOR) is a publication-level metric. It does not apply to individual articles, authors, institutions, or research groups.
Both qualitative and quantitative factors are considered when evaluating journals for inclusion and indexing in IJIFACTOR.
No single factor is considered in isolation. Decisions are made based on the combined assessment of all criteria by volunteer editors and expert committees.
English Language Requirement:
All submitted content must be available in English.
Peer Review Transparency:
Journals must clearly describe their peer review policies and must not
misrepresent review practices.
IJIFACTOR ranks journals as:
B, B+, B++, B+++, A, A+, A++, A+++
where B indicates Average quality and
A+++ indicates Excellent quality.
IJIFACTOR assigns scores from 0.5 to 10.0, where 0.5 represents Average rating and 10.0 represents Excellent rating.
